As many of you may know I'm a "Irish" nut. I love to celebrate my heritage! Even better that there's a national holiday for us. Honestly you should have seen my house this year. Shamrock window stickers all over the place. The kids picked up shamrocks and leprechauns pretty quickly. This year we celebrated Sean's b-day at MacCool's and had some delicious home cooking and a couple Irish drinks. Since Mom and Dad were out of town in San Diego for MacCools, we had another celebration later on the 14th at Sean's house. Sean and Angie made Corn Beef and Cabbage and some Irish Soda bread. It was Mmmm so good!!!
On the 17th we didn't get to do much since it was the middle of the week. But Josilyn went to her dance class. Here's a photo of her changing her tap shoes for her ballet shoes.
On the 18th we headed to the park for a picnic with Colleen and Allison. Even though it was pretty crummy weather, the sun shone just a bit to keep us there longer. Plus the kids were craving the freedom of exploration and adventure.
I love passing down my families traditions to my kids and to see them get just as exited as me when the next holiday rolls around.
May the sun shine all day long,
Everything go right and nothing go wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true!
Everything go right and nothing go wrong.
May those you love bring love back to you
And may all the wishes you wish come true!
